Before heading off for break, our students showed the true spirit of giving! 🧡 McDanield Preschoolers delivered over 240 food items to Vaughn-Trent Community Services, and students across the district came together to prepare Thanksgiving meal kits for Feed His Lambs. We’re so proud of their generosity. THANK YOU to our staff and families for supporting the various food drives during the holiday season, helping us make a big impact in our community!

🎭✨ Students from all of our preschool programs had a magical morning previewing Once Upon a Mattress at Bonner Springs High School! They loved meeting the cast and getting a sneak peek of this hilarious twist on the classic Princess and the Pea. Don't miss out on the fun—opening night is TONIGHT at 7 PM in the BSHS Auditorium! Shows run through Saturday, so grab your tickets and come support our talented high school performers! 🌟

DRE PreK dove into some hands-on learning by practicing how to write letters using shaving cream. What a fun way to learn!
DRE Third graders got a better understanding of our 3 branches of government and the country's election process by participating in the "Candy-dates," Chocolate party vs. Candy party. Students collaborated in groups and gave speeches about their candy-date for the Primary election. Students registered with either the Chocolate or Candy party and voted within their party. The Primary election results gave two Candy-dates: Twix (Chocolate party) vs. Air Heads (Candy party). All DRE students were then able to vote in the General election for their favorite Candy-date. Winner results were shared on Wednesday, November 6th - Air Heads declared the official winner!
